Over 27 years of clinical, academic, and regulatory experience in manual therapy. Registered Massage Therapist, Manual Osteopathic Therapist, Biodynamic Craniosacral Certified, Yoga Teacher, and SAS Reviewer for CMMOTA.
Dawn founded Still Point Academy to make high-quality osteopathic and wellness education accessible to practitioners and the public alike — bringing together decades of clinical practice, academic leadership, and regulatory stewardship.
Dawn’s Journey
A Career in Manual Therapy
1999
Registered Massage Therapist
Graduated from OVCMT, opened a clinic in the Okanagan, taught massage therapy for six years.
2009
Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher
Completed certification in Vancouver, teaching yoga alongside massage practice.
2015
Principal at Alberta College of Massage Therapy
Led the Academic Advisory Committee to develop Manual Osteopathic Core Competencies curriculum.
2016
Surveyor with CMTCA
Selected as one of the first 20 surveyors for the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation — a seven-year role.
2019
Manual Osteopathic Therapist
Graduated DMOT, returned to Penticton, BC to practice.
2020
School Approval System Developer
Developed the SAS for MOT programs; serves as reviewer and P.L.A.R. Director.
2024
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist
Completed two years of advanced training; launched the Viva Las Vagus course and founded Still Point Academy.
